We all know Santorini Is a beautiful island, but summer time is also a very crowded one: this is the reason why we booked a private tour (we were two couples) and not the excursions sold on our ship. In hindsight we did the right choice! Our guide, Simone, was waiting for us at the top terminal of the cable car and after two minutes walking and his phone call we met our van and our driver, Stelios. We spent 5 hours strolling around the island, both on the cliff and beach side, including some of the most traditional villages. Keep in mind that Santorini is a walking island, and villages are strictly pedestrian, so wear some confortable shoes for your visit! Tour ended dropping us off very close to the cable car station. Interesting, knowledged and complete tour: island was highlghted at its best! Thank you!
