• Note: if you are booking within 24 hours of the tour/activity departure time, we cannot guarantee hotel pick-up.
• If the hotel is inaccessible by car due to restrictions, pickup will be held from a nearby location within a short walking distance.
• Cruise ship travelers: The meeting point is the "McDonalds" in Fira town, near the top of the cable car about 300 meters.
• Once your purchase is complete, send your complete contact information (phone number, email address, etc.) to your local tour operator to organize pick-up arrangements.

    The beautiful and modern Argyros winery estate is located on the outskirts of Episkopi-Gonia, about 5.5 km southeast of Fira. Argyros' spacious tasting room with ocean views is located in the heart of their grape estate. As with most wineries in Santorini, the main grape variety produced and used here is the white Assyrtico grape, although Argyros is also used to make a delicious Aydani wine. Their ruby-red Mavrotragano received 93/100 Parker points in Wine Advocate.

    Avantis Estate winemaker Mr. Apostolos Mountrikas fell in love with Santorini and the strong personality of Assyrtiko and started his project in Santorini in 2012. He completed his project in 2021, founding Anwaterous Winery. His philosophy is based on experimentation with ancient winemaking techniques that produce modern wines with purity and essential varietal characteristics. Wines that reflect the connection with the arid land of Santorini, the majesty of the land, the volcano, the sun, the sea breeze, the Cycladic air - the vibrant personality of this unique PDO land. High-quality wines that capture the pure beauty of Santorini. These are anhydrous wines.

  • Artemis Karamolegos Winery, Exo Gonia, Greece
    The history of the winery goes back to 1952, when Grandfather Artemis cultivated his vineyards to produce wine that would satisfy the needs of his own family, and then sell it to the island and the rest of Greece. Artemis Karamolegos, the grandson who replaced his grandfather and then his father at the EXO Gonia winery, is a young man, active and full of passion for his work. From 2004 to the present day, he has managed to perform a real miracle and move the family business many steps forward and with great speed.

The history of wine making in Santorini was told throughout the tour, beautiful wineries and wonderful wine with great food tastes as well!

Mary was an excellent guide…We learned a lot about the history of Santorini wines and winemaking. We visited a variety of wineries and ended our tour enjoying a tremendous sunset. I definitely recommend this tour!

If I could give this 10 stars I would!! There were 5 of us including Sofia our wonderful guide. She was so fun and told us many interesting things about the island of Santorini. The wineries were very interesting and each one was unique. The wines were excellent at all three vineyards. Snacks were provided at each stop. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, we thoroughly enjoyed it!! Thank you Sofia!
