Visit the largest neighbouring island of Mykonos full of beauty and art! Tinos houses the most important church of Greece, the impressive 'Evangelistria' that was built for the miraculous icon 'Megalochari' It is the aim of pilgrimage for Greek people all over the world. You will get the chance to admire the white and grey marbles that are fitted in the Buckingham Palace and the Louvre in Paris. At the Monastery of Kechrovouni there will be time to enjoy its picturesque views and wonderful architecture. In Pyros that is also know as the town of marble we will visit a marble artist in his workshop. Time to explore Volax famous for its basket weaving tradition and the big granite rocks dominating the landscape. Back in Tinos Town free time will be given for shopping and relaxing before our way back to Mykonos.

Told to meet at very vague location so took a few phone calls to get exact spot. Met guide in Mykonos who put us on ferry 1 hour before departure! Wasted so much time that could have been spent doing other things before. Tour itself once started was good. Saw a lot of the island and learnt the history. Once again ferry back was not good and arrived far later than was told when booking this tour.

A very nice trip. You see practically the whole island and get a lot of insider information. Since you look at so many things, the time was partly very short. On the other hand, there are long waits for the ferry. Also, I booked a guide in German - but our guide spoke only English.

There is just nothing on Tinos to make taking this tour worthwhile. Don't bother.
