My husband and I loved our tour! Both the driver and guide were excellent. I did not feel like I was being talked to by a robot. It was more on a personal level. Highly recommend it.

Our tour with Niki was one of the highlights of our 24 day Mediterranean Cruise. We started off by visiting an olive oil press to learn from a local producer, who processes olive oil for local family farms and left with complimentary bottles of Olive oil. We then proceeded to the Olympia site. We spent around an hour and a half at the site, and had the incredible opportunity to actually walk, or in my case run, on the original field of Olympic competition!! If that wasn't enough we then proceeded to have a lunch at a local restaurant that would knock you socks off! Niki is the ultimate guide, informative, knowledgeable, and exceedingly friendly. It doesn't get better than this folks.

I have been coming to Greece and Olympia for the past 17 years as the trip leader of a college study trip. Ever since our first chance encounter Niki Vlachou has become a permanent addition to our itinerary. Recently I was able to take my family to Greece and share with them the country I love so much. One of their favorite parts of our whole trip was the time we spent with Niki at the museum and archeological site.
Niki Vlachou is the pinnacle of professional guides; She is intelligent and knowledgeable, but her commitment is so much greater than that. Her tours have this perfect blend of professionalism and personal attention. She has a lovely quick wit and sense of humor and is able to make deep and lasting connections with her tours. In that sense, she is so much more than a guide. She is better described as a representative of the culture, history, hospitality, and beauty of Greece. She has a passion for the history of her country that makes it come alive and invites you in to see it as she sees it. To love it as she loves it.
To be honest, I deliberately took my family to Olympia with the purpose of them meeting and experiencing Niki as our guide. Ancient Olympia is amazing and the museum there is one of my favorites, but what makes my experiences in that place so memorable and keeps us coming back is how Niki Vlachou brings the past to life.
