Created in 2012, this winery operates exclusively as a production area where the top quality grape of Santorini is vinified, preserving the typical characteristics of the native varieties of the island, while respecting its incomparable volcanic terroir.

    Gaia's Winery is located on the beach, at the east cost of the island, in an industrial stone building dated since the 1900's. This charming building that used to be a tomato factory since the 70's was carefully renovated in order not only to preserve the local heritage but also to guarantee the ideal conditions for a high quality wine production.

  • Estate Argyros, Greece
    Argyros family has been involved in wine production since 1903. It is the largest private owner of vinyards in Santorini and the current landholdings exceed 120 ha, a vast, four-generations-long investement. The Estate Argyros Winery, located in Episkopi and established in 2015, is a cutting edge establishment, certainly one of the most impressive on the island, covering more than 3000 m2.

Tasos was quite literally the best part of our time to Santorini. To be frank we didn't particularly love Santorini at the time of year we went (late October early November).. while it was less touristy it was just not what we were expecting. So much so we left Santorini 3 days early... it would have been 4 days but we had booked this experience with Tasos and my are we glad we did! He was a FANTASTIC tour guide. Chatty, prepared, knowledgeable of the local area and just overall a great guide. My fiancé and I were impressed with how well he took care of us despite the season being basically over. (I am pretty confident we were his last tour of the year. before his winter break) If we were to go back to Santorini we will definitely look him up for another experience and have recommended him to multiple family and friends.

A must do! We loved our day with Tasos! He was super knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the wine of Santorini.

Tasos was excellent and extremely hospitable. During the pick up we got into the wrong car but, thankfully the driver knew Tasos (actual tour guide) and returned us to the pick area to meet Tasos. We started the tour at smaller winery next to the beach. Very relaxing and some great tastings to start the tour. Next we went to an estate winery, larger setting with their own tour guide and they gave us the history of the estate. Great wines to choose from at the estate. Next we moved along to our last stop which had more of a restaurant setting but, Tasos kept great conversations going with us and poured us a few extra glasses
