We had SUCH an incredible time on this tour. Pascal was so knowledgeable and provided such a rich experience, one we could never have attained on our own. If you plan on going on this tour, which I HIGHLY recommended, don’t eat before like we did! You will get your money’s worth on the food alone! And you have a great opportunity to do some shopping for spices and other local delicacies. We learned a lot from Pascal and he was incredibly kind and gracious. Thanks!!

È proprio bello passeggiare per Atene con un Greco che conosce la città proprio bene. Il food tour è una cosa che dovete assolutamente fare, per conoscere meglio i sapori della Grecia. Si comincia con un caffè Greco, con l’ Acropoli a prima vista, il tradizionale “kuluri” -un tipo di pane a forma di cerchio- e la saporitissima “tiropita” -la pitta con la feta. Poi ci si ferma per un dolce! Abbiamo assaggiato i lukumades, palline di pasta fritte, cosparse di sciroppo, cannella e noci. Dopo aver gustato lo yogurt greco con il miele, si fa un ultima fermata alla Varvakio, che sarebbe un mercato al centro. Lo rifaremmo sicuramente la prossima volta che ci troveremo li!
