Take in the excitement & beauty of nature and the culture of Turkey. Enjoy a full-day off the beaten track seeing this picturesque area of Oymapınar dam (built on Manavgat river) area where is called green canyon. The Oymapinar dam is situated 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) north of Manavgat. Constructed between 1977-1984 it is now the fifth largest dam in Turkey. When it was completed it was the third largest dam in Turkey, meanwhile, other dams have been built and it has moved down to fifth place. Further we will visit a small zoo excluding enterence fee (€ 3,- pp) Kids love this place. After the zoo we will eat Gözleme (Turkish Pancake) at a local restaurant. (Excluded, it's up to you if you want). Panoramic view of Green Canyon, on our way back there are local sellers where you can buy ice-cream or cold drinks. Kids under 6 who are free of charge sit on your laps, when they need their own lunch they pay extra. ! Pick-up guests from Side & Manavgat hotels only minimum 12 persons.

Although the canyon was spectacular the tour company the Sunshine holidays used was very unsatisfactory I believe they have now changed providers due to the number of complaints

Absolutely amazing day. Beautiful views and really good fun for children of all ages with adults alike. For 5 pounds you can hold the baby lions... the best experience ever.

Great trip. An amazing experience in the lap of nature with the wind in your hair and a jeep. A very large variety, from old ruins for swimming in the lake and by boat, to mountain peaks and a dam. Many hours of breathtaking experiences.
