    This architectural gem designed by Inigo Jones, was at the time a revolutionary building. Jones had travelled to Italy and new what a classical style palace looked like. The House is now the art gallery for Royal Museums Greenwich and includes the famous Queen Elizabeth Armada portrait. Magnificent.

We did a private half day tour and our guide was Mr Muhsin - he is a very knowledgeable man, patient and flexible. We had a great time with him and would recommend to use his services if and when required.

Unfortunately, Greenwich Royal Tours was not a good experience. I would highly suggest Viator not use Greenwich Royal Tours for any future tours. Maybe it was just the guide who was assigned to my tour but my experience was not good. I did see and learn while on the tour but not from my guide. I am not disclosing his name but if Viator contacts me privately, I will share his name. The tour description specifically said it would begin and end in the same place but my tour guide left me at the top of the Royal Observatory even though we started at the Visitors Center. I did not appreciate finding my own way back to the Visitors Center.

Our guide for our Greenwich half day walking tour was Suzy, who was absolutely wonderful. A lovely lady who clearly takes pride in sharing her amazing knowledge of everything Greenwich! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole tour and we learnt so much. We would highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much!
