Great for families and anyone who wants to play in the snow without having to buy a ticket for the top of the mountain.  With easy access and stunning mountain views, BodmiARENA is the largest beginners ski area in the Jungfrau region, and located conveniently in the famous Swiss mountain village of Grindelwald. Covering 6000m2 of terrain, bodmiARENA has an onsight booking office, restaurant, and includes a play zone for sled and tube rides. Getting there: You can drive directly to the bodmiARENA, providing your car is prepared for the road conditions.  Alternatively, bus 122 and 124 depart frequently from the village and are free with your bodmiARENA ticket.

Was good but could have just turned up and used the tubes and sledges without paying as that’s what seemed to be happening and no one was checking. The area itself has just a small restaurant too. Would be nice if there was more of an atmosphere though

Our children (11 and 8 years old) wanted to try skiing for the 1st time. The magic carpet and very gentle slopes were perfect for them. Parking is very limited so if driving get there early. We also hired boots, skis and helmets for a very reasonable price on site, but again good to get those early as when classes are on the equipment soon went. They also hired sledges in the afternoon which was very enjoyable for them.
