The Gros Piton hike is very hard but beautiful. The hike consist of four levels. The climb is difficult because it consist of boulders. It was easier to crawl up the boulders. My sister and I only made it halfway up, but that view was beautiful. Just take your time and try to pace yourself to make it to the half way point. Our guide was nice and waited for us. We enjoyed the cats.

Tour agency tried to change the timing of our tour less than 12 hours before! We did not realise this till the morning of the hike as we did not have signal the night before and slept late. They then cancelled the tour and I’m yet to see the refund. You’re better off hiring a taxi and using the local guide at the pitons

We did this independently we hired a jeep and drove from Soufriere once there guide was assigned to you go early we went for a 6.30 start, Jason our guide was very quiet but did his job tipped him accordingly… This hike is Not for the weak hikers very challenging from start to finish but so worth it, take plenty of water the heat can be too much all in all a fab hike as we’re keen hikers
