Explore the jungles along the Talofofo and Ugum Rivers on this half-day tour. Visitors of all ages, from all over the world, will be greeted by our friendly staff at the Valley of the Latte Main Staging area near the Gift Shop. Fun and experienced guides will welcome you onto one of our Adventure River Boats. The trip begins as the boat leaves the dock and you are transported to another place and another time as you cruise over cool and calm waters. As you make your way down the ancient rivers, you will catch a glimpses of a thriving ancient Chamorro village. Over 4,500 years of history will be shared as you are greeted by Ulitao, a seafaring organization that keeps ancient traditions alive. Your knowledgeable guides will provide information on the history of the land, people, and local flora, fauna, and wildlife. A delicious Fiesta Style BBQ plate is provided on all morning tours and guests are allowed to enjoy a gorgeous botanical garden and animal sanctuary.

    he Valley of the Latte delivers a unique and once in a lifetime experience. As you travel along the Talofofo and Ugum Rivers, you will be transported to another time at the heart of Guam. Knowledgeable, friendly, and entertaining guides will share the rich history and culture of the Ancient Latte site, the local waters, the local wildlife, and ensure that you are smiling from start to finish. You will be welcomed by our living village, and guided through a breathtaking botanical garden, walk through the ruins of an ancient CHamoru village that is over 1,000 years old, and learn about Guam's history and culture. The experience only gets better as our guides demonstrate how ancient CHamoru started their fires and show you traditional basket weaving techniques. The longer you are here, the more you realize, that this is the best way to experience Guam.

I took this tour with my fiancé and daughter in april 2023. We all had a great time learning about present day Guam, it's past, and some of the islands history. I do not remember the captains name (sorry) but his first mate was Pineapple Ben and he was not only very good at his job, but very very funny as well. I think Ben needs a raise, that's how awesome he was lol. We were shown some of the local wildlife such as lizards, birds, crabs, and fish as well as an old warriors dwelling, 2000 year old latte stones, and some of the plants and trees. Some of those trees you would do well to avoid which is always good info to have. We were given hand woven items made from coconut leaves and shown how the ancients made fire. I even had the chance to show Pineapple Ben how I make fire as well. It is not just a boat tour as you get to venture into the jungle a bit to see some of what the area offers and to have lunch. Also got to ride a caribou which was the only thing on the island to make me look thin lol. All in all it was a fun trip. The water was a little dark on this trip as it had rained and rained and rained for a few days before we took the trip, but you could still see lots of fish in the area. I was worried about getting sick on the water and mosquitos but this was not a problem at all. The ride was smooth and there are tons of these little needle fish that eat everything so there was not a mosquito in sight.

Valley of the Latte Adventure Park Guam has so much to offer! We went as a family and it was so much fun! Our guide was super friendly and even our preteen had a great time! We cruised up the Talofofo and Ugum River seeing and feeding fish, monitor lizards, and so many local plants. We were able to see Chamorro houses on latte stones, eat fresh coconut, and explore local fruit trees too! There are so many beautiful flowers too! They made us a wonderful lunch. We learned how to make fire the Chamorro way too! The natural springs were really neat to see! You could see the water bubbling up and mixing with the brackish river water due to high tide. The animal sanctuary showed some of the animals that have been brought to Guam over the years by other countries. Overall, this tour didn’t disappoint! Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable, and shared information in a fun way! They even crafted us palm leaf fish, roses, and baskets. We finished the day off with carabao rides and more pictures of flowers! This tour was like stepping back in time! I loved it it!! Definitely a photographers paradise too!!

Fantastic experience to learn a little local history and ways of the Chamorro people. Guides were entertaining and informative. Only place you can ride a Carabao!
