Beyond just a horse ride, in this experience the visitor will have access to a cultural immersion in the population of the community we visit. We integrate our link in the community to find out about their availability, once on the site the local guide is fully the host. In this place we always encourage the consumption of food, sometimes the purchase of their canned goods and traditional medicine. Visitors will learn more about the work of soil restoration, reforestation and forest care in general, by the inhabitants.

There’s no better way to see this part of the Santa Rosa Mountains than on horseback! A beautiful drive into the mountains, followed by a couple hours of easy riding on well cared for horses with an English-speaking guide, was authentic and very special. Upon return, a homemade delicious lunch was served while learned more about this multi generational working ranch. highly recommend it!

Antonio from Cacaomixtle drove us to the ranch. As a retired mining engineer he was very knowledgeable about the terrain. We enjoyed speaking with him. At the ranch we were greeted by Efren the owner. He took us on a beautiful ride throughout his property. After the ride Alejandra provided a hearty home cooked meal. This was a genuine experience on a real working ranch. We felt very grateful to have this experience.
