Great to discover another West African country. Apart from being a nice and knowledgeable guide, Mr Amadou knew what additional information would be of interest to me.

We had an amazing tour! We learned so much about the city, the country and the culture. We really enjoyed all of the places we visited but especially the opportunity to visit some of the places we never would have seen or been able to go without our kind and gracious guide and driver. We saw a fishing community and artist community and learned more about their lives. My favorite part was standing on the western most tip of Africa. Dakar is a very large city and it is not possible to get around all by yourself or by walking. I highly recommend booking this tour!

This tour was a wonderful introduction to Dakar. I visited for business and only had a short time for sightseeing. The tour guide, Mamadou, was accommodating to my last-minute booking! He was very knowledgeable about the area, the history and also very kind, patient, generous, and receptive to questions and conversation.
Some highlights included a visit inside and tour of the African Renaissance monument, a local market, and a scenic drive through the city with several opportunities to stop and take in the sights.
Overall I would recommend this 1/2 day tour to anyone visiting Dakar. It was fun and very interesting!
