Los Alerces National Park is one of the most important in the country due to the incomparable beauty of its forests, it offers different routes and services that allow you to experience it in different ways. Its proximity to the mountain range allows the development of a dense Andean Patagonian forest and a Valdivian jungle grows where the Larch or Lahuan stands out.

    You visit the Villa Futalaufquen, Museum of Interpretation, Rock Paintings (Two and a half kilometers from Villa Futalaufquen, you can see an eaves with cave paintings of ancient towns and then make a ten-minute climb to a viewpoint. It lasts forty minutes and is of low difficulty) Puerto Limonao, the surroundings of the Hostería Futalaufquen. And finally, the Irigoyen waterfall, located six kilometers from Villa Futalaufquen, observing an important waterfall between abundant and varied vegetation. The first section lasts fifteen minutes of walking and it is of low difficulty.

Very beautiful place , with very beautiful landscape , has an alerce( tree that gives its name to the park with 100 years) a very beautiful river should be beautiful in summer, has a structure for picnic

Estuvimos con mi esposa y cuñados en Esquel y Trevelin entre el 26 y 31 de octubre. Una experiencia inolvidable. Nos alojamos en una maravillosa cabaña en Ayelen Andina no lejos del centro de la ciudad. Muy confortable y bien equipada. El desayuno completo y rico. Hicimos excursiones a Trevelin (pueblo del molino) donde nos recibió un festival de colores con casi tres millones de tulipanes en perfecta simetría con senderos internos para recorrerlos, rodeados de un escenario encantador de montañas nevadas y bosques de pinos. Imperdible. También fuimos al molino - museo Nan Fach donde nos recibieron descendientes del pionero gales Thomas Evans que llegó a poblar el lugar en 1894. Su bisnieto y familiares nos mostraron y explicaron brillantemente el uso de elementos de antiguas, maquinarias y carruajes de esa época. Entre ellos se destaca el molino con su rueda accionada por el agua de un arroyito que nace en una vertiente andina. Actualmente produce varios tipos de harina de trigo entre ellas la integral. Luego visitamos las cascadas donde se respira un ambiente cargado de Naturaleza y relax. Buenísimo. Otro viaje a través del tiempo fue el de la Trochita con un paseo por la estepa patagónica hasta la estación Nahuel Pan. En el trayecto nos sorprendió una copiosa nevada que tiño de blanco el paisaje. Finalmente recorrimos el camino cubierto de nieve hacia el centro de esquí La Hoya pasando por laguna la zeta de origen glaciar, avistamos de muy cerca una manada de guanacos que nos observaban con curiosidad. El último día cenamos exquisito cordero patagónico al asador observando nevar a través de la ventana. Al día siguiente nos despidió Esquel nevado hasta casi la hora de volar hacia Buenos Aires. Recomendable viaje.

Es una experiencia que te llena el alma de satisfacción ya que la naturaleza nos sigue sorprendiendo para bien. Prepárense porque es intenso. No lo recomiendo en solitario.
