  • English tours of the Caves of Lascaux IV are very limited in number, most of the visits are in French. Your guide will explain the cave before and after the tour as simultaneous translation in the cave is strictly forbidden
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Martin was fabulous. We got a great inside commentary of early man. What a treat. He listened to and answered our questions. The two stops before the cave visit were interesting. Great tour through Viator ... as always.

It truly does amaze you. 20,000 year old cave paintings hidden for centuries are amazing! The level if artistry that prehistoric humans had us very advanced. The sheer volume of paintings is also very impressive. Of course this is a reproduction but very accurate. If we all visited the original cave, we would destroy the art just by breathing. Do not miss this!
