Jose was a brilliant guide and we loved our tour - the scenery was spectacular and so beautiful I could hardly believe it was real. The tour was tailored exactly to what we wanted to do and see, and Jose was really friendly, a mine of information about the area and the Azores, and just wanted us to have a fantastic time...which we certainly did! Highly recommended.

I apologize to Jose for being so late in writing this review. Our group of 4 booked this tour on the recommendation of our travel agent as an excursion while sailing on a Princess cruise. We were beyond happy that we did. From the start, Jose was so helpful and communicative regarding meeting up with him off the cruise ship. The day was overcast, so he knew we would not have the views from the crater top and adjusted our tour so we could make the best of our time. And did we ever! We saw out of the way beauty of the island, with Jose pointing out various native wildlife along the way. We made a stop at a pineapple plantation to learn all about the growing process and saw a beautiful coastline town that would easily draw me to a vacation stay. We also got to see the port town from his perspective. We all would recommend his tour 100%. Do yourself a favor.
