  • Vatnajokull National Park, Iceland
    Your personal photographer and glacier guide will lead you onto one of Iceland’s most scenic outlet glaciers. We will then explore the Ice as we make our way to the most majestic Ice Caves in Iceland. While you immerse yourself into the blue ice, the guide will use his own camera equipment to take professional photos of you to capture the most special moments of your tour. Throughout the hike, you will learn about the history of Vatnajokull Glacier and how the ice work in nature. After the tour ends, your guide will professionally edit your photos and email them to you within the week. These photos will be the perfect souvenir and memory of your adventure in Iceland!

  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • In order to operate this tour we need 2 passengers minimum.
  • Photos are edited and sent approximately 14 days after your tour.
  • The minimum age for this tour is 6 years old.
  • If an child car seat is required, the parents need to provide it.
  • Not recommended for people unfit to hike at least 5 kilometers (3.1 miles)
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

My husband and I just recently went on the Ice Cave Captured tour, and we cannot say enough good things about our experience! Not only did our guide Trym give us an outstanding tour of the beautiful ice cave, but he became a friend of ours by the end of the trip! He answered any and all questions we had about the glacier, ice caves, Iceland, and anything else under the sun! To top it all off, he’s a professional photographer and we were given beautiful photos that will last a lifetime! 10/10 recommend Trym & Ice Pic Journeys!! Thanks for making this the highlight of our trip to Iceland!
