    Your adventurous day begins with a scenic drive to Peggy’s Cove. Located just under an hour’s drive away from Halifax, Peggy’s Cove is a picturesque fishing village with plenty to see and do. While driving up to Peggy’s Cove, your guide will point out notable sights, landmark, and scenic views. Upon arrival at Peggy’s Cove you will be given plenty of free time in which you can explore the area around the historical lighthouse, stroll along the ocean looking for tidal pools, head into the village to watch the fishermen come and go, or go shopping in one of the small boutiques and shops.

  • Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, Halifax, Canada
    you will stop at Citadel Hill where a living historical guide will be waiting to take you on an amazing tour. Throughout the tour you will explore prison cells and alleyways that date back to 1745. At the end of the tour you will watch the daily noon cannon fire.

    The day ends on a high note with a driving tour of downtown Halifax. The driving tour will take you by the city’s most well-known buildings and landmarks such as the Titanic Cemetery, City Gardens, Pier 21, and Halifax Farmers Market. At the end of the driving tour you will be dropped off at your chosen drop-off location.

We very much enjoyed our half day tour today big thank you to Nilah and Dennis! Great way to see the sights and learn about Halifax and Nova Scotia in a short amount of time. Highlights were Peggy's Cove (yummy lobster roll & ice cream), touring Citadel Hill and learning about the Titanic burial site. Also appreciated the suggestions of things to do for the remainder of our stay. We were able to book it last minute for the four of us the day before our arrival and it was the perfect way to get settled into the city after arriving at our hotel. Highly recommend!

This may not be the usual review. We were notified at 11:30pm the night before that the guide had called out. We were to meet the guide in front of the cruise port at 9 AM, unfortunately Emily, an office manager had to take the tour starting at 10 AM instead. Also, since we started late, she could not do the entire tour (the titanic cemetery) had to be skipped, and was told we would receive a partial refund, which I am still waiting on. While Emily was very pleasant and knowledgeable it’s obvious she isn’t the normal guide. Additionally, there was a problem with the air conditioner in the vehicle. Also, the transmission was slipping . It popped out of gear a few times, but the vehicle itself was large, roomy, clean, and well kept. Luckily, it was a rather cool day so the AC wasn’t a huge issue. Lastly if you sat in the very back you could not hear the commentary.
