Enroute to this seaside village pass, you travel along the winding coastal highway of the Lighthouse Route to the tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, it is little wonder it has been an inspiration for artists and an irresistible lure for budding and seasoned adventurers for generation after generation. The colorful houses and fishing shacks perched atop the solid stone rocky outcrop that overlooks the restless waters of the Atlantic exhibit the wear and tear of the ocean and its punishing storms. Yet they endure, much like the small population of approximately 32 people who are year-round residents.”

Trip was beautiful to Peggy’s Cove and bus was on time. Worth the trip, and tour guide was good. The driver, however, was going too fast for the tight winding roads, and at one point hit the ditch. Was also driving well above the speed limit and flow of traffic on the highway section.

Our experience was not a positive one. When we arrived to board out "bus" transportation, we were told by Johnathan we would have to pack 6 of us into an SUV because there wasn't enough of us to use a small tour bus. Not happening. Then we were put into a mini van and transported to Peggy's Cove. Very uncomfortable and could not see out very good. Not what we paid for. The only thing that made it memorable was our driver went above and beyond to make up for such a rocky start with the transportation. I give him 5 stars out of 5.

Scenic spot but was not worth a half-day trip. A knowledgeable but highly talkative guide—info overload.
