The Hamburg Classic: Experience the grand harbor tour, an uncomplicated way to explore the harbor. Nice, short tour of Hamburg harbour. Seeing the large container ships was a highlight. Be aware, the tour is only in German. However, there is an app you can download for an English tour. Download ahead of time on WiFi, and bring earphones. A one hour tour was long enough for my family. We took the 11am tour and afterward headed for lunch at a nearby Portuguese restaurant.

A super exciting tour around the harbour - The highlight is definitely the visit to the large container terminal that we have so often admired from the highway. Good selection in the bar, and a cozy guide that made it super!

Die übliche 1-Std.-Rundfahrt, die sich "große" nennt, für rund 25 € p.P., man macht sie immer mal wieder. Wir fuhren auf Abicht's Hanseatic, tip-top in Ordnung, trotz mehr als 30 Jahre auf dem Puckel. Die Plauderei und die Witze kennt man schon, aber die fachlichen Angaben zum Hafen, den Schiffen dort und zur Seefahrt allgemein, sind exakt und hilfreich ... für Landratten.
