Bring your camera and have your picture taken with actress Angelina Jolie, German chancellor Angela Merkel or empress Sisi as you explore the wax museum's grounds. The Panoptikum is the oldest wax museum in Germany, looking back on more than 130 years of history displaying historical wax figures, artists and politicians, waxworks of celebrities and megastars as well as athletes and popular contemporaries. Providing great entertainment for young and old, the waxworks at the Panoptikum are upheld with devotion and care. A visit to the museum takes on average around 45 minutes up an hour -- guests are welcome to stay as long as they wish to explore the waxworks. A audio-guide is available in English and German, providing background information, music and anecdotes about the lifelike wax figures you walk past. A visit of the Panoptikum is suitable for all ages and very recommendable for children.

  • Your tickets will be held at the museums box office for collection on the day of your visit. Before you enter the museum please go to the box office.
  • The Panoptikum can be visited at the selected date during the following opening hours: Monday-Friday from 10am-8pm, Saturdays from 10am to 10pm, Sundays from 10am-8pm
  • Audio guide available in German and English
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Lille men hyggelig museum. Dukkerne ikke særlig godt lavet i forhold til så mange andre voksmuseer og så er det overvejende tyske personligheder som vi ikke kunne relatere til - en lidt skuffende oplevelse desværre

Absoluter Kult aufm Kiez in Hamburg. Das muss man gesehen haben. Ha sicherlich nicht den Umfang und die Qualität, die man "sonst" von einem Wachsfigurenkabinett erwartet und vielleicht kennt. Aber dafür klein und fein und mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Für den Preis kann man nicht meckern. Die Wachsfiguren sind gut gemacht. Lediglich die älteren sehen nicht echt aus, könnten aber auch als Rarität verkauft werden ???? Das einzige was ich nicht so schön fand war, dass wir online Tickets gekauft haben und uns dennoch nochmal an der Kasse anstellen mussten, um diese gegen ein Papier Ticket zu tauschen. Hier wäre es schön, wenn das digitale ausreichen würde und somit gleichzeitig auch Ressourcen gespart werden ????
