    We commence our tour of Hampi in 1 day at Vijaya Vittala temple , probably the grandest masterpiece around. It is constructed on a polyhedron foundation. Right at the front is the world renowned stone chariot made of rough quartz. You will spot figures of soldiers, hunters and even foreign visitors like Portuguese and Arabs etched on the chariot. The musical pillars of the temple is one of the greatest work of art by mankind.

We start at Queen’s Bath which is a magnificent structure and used to be the private bathing chamber for the royalty of Vijaynagara Empire.

Super organisierte Tour durch Hampi. Alle interessanten Orte in Hampi wurden ohne Zeitstress besichtigt.Unser Führer Rajesh( Tel.+91 93594 45076) war exzellent.Er hat alles perfekt erläutert und v.a. auch viele Informationen über die Mythologie gegeben. Das vollklimatisierte Auto war wunderbar,da die Temperaturen schon recht hoch waren.Hampi wäre alleine sehr schwierig zu besichtigen.

Sehr gut organisierte Tour von Hampi. Dabei wurden alle wesentlichen Sehenswürdigkeiten gezeigt und in aller Ruhe sehr gut erklärt.Prima hat uns auch die kleine Wanderung entlang des idyllischen Flusses gefallen.Unser Führer Rajesh hatte ein sehr großes Wissen und wußte auch sehr viel über die Mythologie. Der Fahrer Ranganath war ausgezeichnet und ist v.a. ruhig und sicher gefahren.Die Tour ist auf alle Fälle sehr zu empfehlen.

Great architecture of the ancient tempals and great scenery. I liked the hill top Tempals. Lot of walking to do. Best to do early morning or late afternoon since it gets hot Midday.
