  • Long Bien Bridge, Hanoi, Vietnam
    The first stage of our Hanoi Motorbike Tours, we ride out of Hanoi across the historic Long Bien bridge and along the bank of the Red River. Cooling breezes off the water make for a pleasant drive along the roads as you get to view the scenic countryside as the noise from the city fades into the background. Our first stop is an 800 year old village that embodies a beautiful historic example of one of the traditional villages that used to populate the Vietnamese countryside. Housed there you will get to see the old village gate, pagoda, temple, and communal house. As we explore the village, you’ll see the thriving life within, and see how to locals work, play, and pray. You’ll be introduced to a local family and join them for some tea and candy with your guide acting as a translator.

    The second stage of our Hanoi Motorbike Tours, we cruise through the expansive rice paddies and venture off the beaten path onto the dirt roads leading to Co Loa Citadel where we will teach you more of the rich Vietnamese history in the surrounding areas and how Vietnam defended itself from invaders dating back to 300 B.C.E.

    On third stage of our Hanoi Motorbike Tours, you’ll be taken through the zig-zagging village alleys as we arrive at the heart of the local farmland. Agriculture is still a thriving part of the Vietnamese economy, and nothing exemplifies this more clearly than exploring the thriving farmland near the villages. We will visit a local farm and sample the freshly picked fruit while enjoying the lush scenery and endless greenery around us.

  • Truc Bach lake, Hanoi, Vietnam
    The last stage of our Hanoi Motorbike Tours concludes with a visit to an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Here you’ll get to enjoy fresh Vietnamese cuisine with diverse traditional dishes and local specialties and get your caffeine fix with unique Vietnamese egg coffee or enjoy yummy Mango Pudding and Caramel dessert in place popular with locals. We will drop you off back to your hotel, or a place within reasonable distance within Hanoi.

Fun tour through the countryside! Su was very friendly and knowledgeable. The motorbike was comfortable and I felt very secure. It also had a backrest and place to hold on so I felt steady. We had many stops, all of which were lovely. All in all, highly recommend!

Chère An, je voulais vous dire un grand merci pour avoir été ma guide lors de notre matinée à moto dans la campagne de Hanoi. Ayant déjà fait le tour à moto pour visiter Hanoi lors d'un autre voyage, j'ai apprécié cette fois ci ce tour original dans la campagne qui était très varié ! j'ai apprécié de repasser deux fois sur le pont Long Bien, pont mythique de Hanoi selon moi ! Et aussi les visites dans les petits villages de l'autre côté du pont, la famille qui fabrique les balais, le couple qui nous permet de visiter sa maison, très belle maison traditionnelle, et aussi les rizières et toutes les explications sur la culture du riz que vous m'avez données. La pause aussi pour boire un jus de canne, symbole du Vietnam pour moi :-) en me racontant la légende du roi Thuc Phán et son arbalète magique ! Plus à la fin de la balade un très bon déjeuner ensemble. C'était le début des vacances, je venais d'arriver à Hanoi et je me suis sentie accueillie et chez moi ! 1000 mercis encore pour votre temps et votre gentillesse pour moi :) A tous ceux qui liront cette revue, c'est le deuxième moto tour que je fais sur Hanoi et j'ai été enchantée à chaque fois ! Donc n'hésitez pas vous non plus, vous ne serez pas déçus !!

It has been a lovely afternoon in the outskirts of Hanoi. We'd been visiting two family businesses (broom making, Bonsai). We also visited a temple, and rode through rice paddies. We had lunch and the local speciality of egg coffee in the afternoon. Su was very knowledgeable and a lovely guide. I enjoyed her company very much.
