Mary was the most AMAZING Food guide! (Cannot emphasize that enough) It was so much more than the food: as we walked through the old quarter, Mary answered our questions and explained about family and work life. So much culture and history too! Food-wise we tasted about 10 different things and participated in rolling our own spring rolls and made our own egg coffee, mind-blowing. The thought of egg in coffee sounds disgusting, but it turned out to be my FAVORITE on the food tour! Besides all the above, Mary had the BEST personality: very engaging and funny with a cheerful disposition!! We wish you the best Mary! Thanks for making our first evening in Ha Noi such a blast! Come hungry and enjoy this Food/Culture back streets Old Quarter tour…truly not to be missed!

Had a great experience on a walking food tour. We did our tour with Bryan a knowledgeable and fun guide who took us around the hectic maze of backstreets in the old quarter of Hanoi. As non meat eaters it was good to learn what to ask for at the array of street food vendors. We would highly recommend it not only for the food but also how to navigate yourself around the streets.

We had yet another wonderful experience with Hanoi Backstreet Tours! My husband and I did the Walking Street Food Tour & Egg Coffee Class this time with Tam and Dũng and really enjoyed the experience. Tam was an awesome tour guide and showed us so many yummy spots that we would have never come across on our own. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves delicious food and wants to enjoy a fun night out in the Old Quarter! Thank you to Backstreet and we look forward to our next outing!
