    Een must in Vietnam. De mooiste stuk natuur dat ik tot nu toe gezien heb. Aan boord van een cruiseschip vaar je Halong Bay in. Tussen de kalksteen eilanden vaar je een stuk verder in de baai van de dalende draak. Ondertussen maak je kennis met een zeer uitgestrekt gebied an eilandjes met grotten en water. Na een paar uurtje waren lig je voor anker en maak je een uitstapje naar een van de eilandjes, waar je een grot kan bezoeken. Verder vaar je nog naar een vissersdorpje gelegen midden tussen de rotsen. Hier kan je kiezen je laat je varen in een klein bootje of je neemt zelf de kano om alzo door het dorp te varen. Prachtig !!

    Stunning scenery, best observed on the extended cruise. A day-trip won't take you far enough out to "lose" the hundreds of other boats. Go now before it becomes so popular you won't be able to capture it on camera without many vessels in your viewfinder. The on-shore Town is fast becoming overcrowded, spoiling the remote feel of the Bay.
