Unlike plenty of cooking classes in town that only do the demotration class to save up cost. We would like to give you the full experience of not only cooking but culture exchange. Cooking with us you will not only learn how to cook Hanoian food but also learn how, why we cook. Enjoy the result of your cooking at the end in a lovely house in the middle of cozy garden would be a nice treat for you.
  • Our class is hands on class where you could learn how to cooking with our family's recipy and learn the way our mother used to teach us.

Our guide Lana was very knowledgeable and skilled and also a delight to talk with! We (me and three friends) made the Bun Cha street food with Fried Nem, and did a tour of the nearby market. The food turned out delicious, and Lana and the other chef (I didn't catch her name) were excellent at managing the kitchen and made sure we all were learning something and had something to do. We cut veggies and meat, arranged the pork in the grill traps, rolled the Nem, and then fried the nem and grilled (and fanned the grill!) the pork. There was also fresh fruit and tea at several points throughout the session. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone, from the uninitiated cook to the master amateur chef, there will be something to learn and a great time to be had!

Undoubtedly the highlight of my trip to Hanoi. Market tour was interesting/informative. Lana was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable regarding general Vietnamese culture and history, not just food. She was energetic, and spoke clearly. Cooking was enjoyable, with simple systematic steps provided for a somewhat complicated dishes (Bun Cha and Fried spring rolls). The result was SO DELICIOUS. Ambience was so cute with the little backyard. Wish we had more time to book a street food tour and egg coffee class also.
