Though most of the specialties (cotton, jewellery, herbs, and silk) have changed over time and have been replaced with a variety of modern-day commodities and services, visitors can still appreciate some of the original goods as well as get a feel of rich old Vietnamese customs.

    Make your way to one of Vietnam's most significant Buddhist sites on a guided day trip from Hanoi. Start your morning with a convenient pick up at your hotel located within the Old Quarters, or meet up with your guide at the designated point before you're whisked off to the Huong Son District, where you'll officially begin the day's activities. We had a wonderful day out with Minh as our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the area and was able to tell us more about each area we visited. We decided to take the steps up to the Perfume Pagoda, it is doable but quite exhausting and leaves you less time to explore the pagoda. We took the cable car down and the views were absolutely stunning. The boat ride was very tranquil with beautiful views along the way. Take into consideration that you have to sit quite low in the boat, and the space is quite small, but this is the case for all tours / boats. Some people complained about this but for us it was part of the experience. All in all we had a really good time!

We had an amazing time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and caring. My mother is older so she walks pretty slow but our tour guide was understanding and was very patience with us.

参加者にはベトナムの方が多く、良い感じの人ばかりでした。 英語はあまり判りませんが、ガイドさんは丁寧な説明をされていました。 香水塔へ上がる時は、かなりの距離があり、香水塔見学の時間を取るためにもケーブルカーを利用したほうがよさそうです。 香水塔はスケールが大きく、訪ねる価値がありました。
