The room was beautiful. This really exceeded our expectations. We loved the comfy bed and the private balcony. Very friendly staff and good food. The program was a bit full for our taste, but you can always choose not to join all activities. And this could also have felt a bit much cause of our jetlag. We loved the tour to Cat Ba Island with tour guide Gum. We were impressed by her knowledge and she was super relaxed and friendly. Best guide we had in a long time. We would definitely recommend a two night stay. This will give you more time to really soak in the beautiful views.

El barco está muy bien, limpio y amplio y la tripulación es encantadora (gracias Mr Lee). Pero cuando estás allí te das cuenta de que todos los barcos hacen lo mismo y estás contaminando un espacio natural espectacular (en temporada baja puede haber 700 barcos en la bahía). En nuestro caso, contratamos el viaje a la bahía de Lan Ha porque nos dijeron que era menos turístico y que además, al ser esa zona sólo seríamos un barco que realiza la excursión 3 días-2 noches. La realidad fue otra: sí que había gente que hacía 2 días-1 noche por lo que nunca bajabas a la bahía de Lan Ha con tu barco. Lo que hacen es mandarte el segundo día en un "barco de día" (un comedor y una azotea para tomar el sol) y pasas ese día entero ahí. Por lo tanto, el precio que pagas por el confort y la estancia en tu barco se reduce a dormir dos noches prácticamente. No merece la pena. Es mejor ir en ferry a Cat Ba y desde ahí hacer una excursión de un día entero en la bahía en un barco de día: más económico, mismas actividades, mismo paisaje y no sientes que te toman el pelo. Por otro lado un detalle feo: el jefe del barco se quedó esperando literalmente delante de nosotros a que escribiésemos una review en tripadvisor, la última media hora de viaje mientras estábamos en la cubierta disfrutando el último rato antes de desembarcar. Esa obsesión por los comentarios (Positivos) en las webs es muy agobiante. Fue muy desagradable la situación y muy poco profesional. La suerte: coincidir con otros pasajeros estupendos y pasar un buen rato juntos.
