It takes about 20 minutes 12:15 Come to Ha long bay harbor, check in the reception 12:30 Welcome drink and receive warm welcome from the crew 13:00  You will receive safety briefing on board, while the boat heading the bay 13:15 The lunch with be served in Vietnamese cuisine  and seafood 15:00 Visit Surprising cave (Amazing Cave), leave boat to visit the hugest cave in Halong bay 15:45 Stop at Luon Cave, a water cave for kayaking, rowing bamboo boat or on board relaxing (paying-optional) 16:15 Get back the boat then come back pier, get the afternoon refreshment with fruits, snacks… 17: 30 Disembark to get on the bus, moving to express way to get back Hanoi 18:30 Short stop to stretch your legs, around 15 minutes 20:00 Say goodbye to you at your hotel/stay.     One of the must do's while traveling in northern Vietnam, Halong Bay was absolutely stunning. We were supposed to do the one day cruise, but unfortunately my husband got sick with food poisoning and we had to cancel very last minute. The company went above and beyond trying to help us and even though they could not compensate the price (totally understandable as we cancelled one hour before) they did everything else. After my husband's health improved the next day we decided to do a day cruise and did not regret it. Halong Bay was foggy and rainy on the day we visited it, but it still managed to amaze us completely. I can only imagine how stunning it would be on a sunny day, as it was so stunning even in poor weather. Our tour guide Duc was an absolute pro and knew loads about Halong Bay and Vietnam. In addition to that he was very nice, helpful and genuine. :) The company has a Whatsapp number which makes communicating with them super easy and they reply fast. Nothing but positive things to say about them. They even arranged us a free ride to the airport from our hotel on our final day in Hanoi due to feeling sorry about not being able to compensate the two day tour we had to miss. Would definitely recommend both the experience and company!
