This was an excellent review by Mike at Momentlives. We started early in the day (4:00 am) and went to the market, which was great, but the real treat was the trip to Tho Ha village. Mike was able to get us into about five houses where they were making rice paper and those were good, but . . Mike felt he could do better and we wandered and photographed people while Mike listened (yes he listened for the rice making machines) and found one that was just perfect. Mike is the kind of tour leader that will go into the house, strike up a conversation and get us photographing in a natural non tour situation. He is an excellent tour leader.

Whether in the village of Tho Ha or in other northern regions I had the support I needed by communicating with the people from each of the villages I visited and allowing me to understand the spirit of each place and to understand the activities, traditions, food traditional of each places.
