It is consists of different ingredients as grilled meats, fried eggs, pate with fresh vegetables and flavorsome sauces. Ending your Hanoi street food tour with Egg Coffee is a perfect dessert choice. It is definitely a must-try drink when visiting Hanoi though its name sounds weird at first. The combination of strong black coffee with whipping egg yolk, sugar and condensed milk creates a creamy and sweet taste with no hint of egg.

Alex took two of us on a three hour (half day) walking tour in the Old City area of Hanoi to four locations offering different food and drink selections typical to Hanoi. An experienced tour guide, he provided ample information about the area, food and culture during the tour. As an aside... by following Alex through the busy streets of the Old City, we learned how to cross streets without incident.
