- From Hanoi: If guests stay in the Old quarter of Hanoi, Hoan Kiem district, send property the hotel address for picked-up at around 8h10 -8h45 am. If guests are in Hanoi, but out of the Old quarter, please come to Opera House, N.01 Trang Tien street at 8:00 am for picked-up

- From Halong: Please come to the Halong International Port, Halong city, Quang Ninh province at 12:00 am. If you arrive there later than 12:00 am you are able to miss the cruise.

    DAY 1: HANOI – BAI TU LONG BAY – CONG DO – CAP LA ISLAND ( L,D) 08.00 – 8:30 : Pick you up from your hotel 12.30: Arrive at our waiting lounge at Ha Long international cruise port. 12.45: Enjoy a welcome drink and spend a couple of minutes briefing about safety on the boat and activities included then we check in our cabin. 13.30: Delicious Vietnamese set menu will be served while leisurely cruising further into Bai Tu Long Bay. 15.00: Arrive in the kayaking area – that is Cap La Island. Enjoy kayaking through the karst and breathtaking nature, swimming and relaxing. 17.30: Get back to the boat and enjoy our Sunset party while our cruise sailing to the overnight anchorage. 19.00: Sumptuous set dinner on board. 20.30: Free time to challenge yourself in Vietnamese puzzle games, or gathers your group/family for a board game; try your luck with squid fishing or simply have a cocktail and enjoy the quiet night on the bay.

    DAY 2 BAI TU LONG BAY – THIEN CANH SON CAVE 06:00 | Sunrise Tai-chi section on sundeck or catch a morning view of the stunning bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. 07.00: Breakfast will be served in Western style, familiar to you to fulfill your strength and ready for another exploring day. 08.00: Explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave. Swan Cruises – Discover Amazing Bay 09.00: Upon return to the boat you will have about 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. 10.00: Attend a Vietnamese cooking demonstration. You can quickly learn a simple but delicious Vietnamese dish that Gordon Ramsey (a 2 Michelin Star Chef) used to guide – Nem Cuon or challenge yourself in fruit and vegetable carving. 11.00: Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch on the boat. 12.00: Back to the harbor and disembark at Ha Long cruise port 12.30: Our bus will take you back to Hanoi. 17.00: End of service.

Overall, kind of a meh experience. The cruise route itself is great - the boat avoids the crowded parts of Ha Long Bay and for that reason alone it’s worth considering. The boat crew is also great. However, this fell short for me in a few ways. Firstly, I felt pretty judged for being a solo traveller throughout. The food was pretty bland and felt catered to European tourists. It wasn’t very authentically Vietnamese which was pretty disappointing after a few days in Hanoi. The king size beds on the boat are actually two doubles joined together and the gap/dip in the middle is obvious. Lastly, the team will ask you to rate and give feedback on your trip while still on board. Note that if you give a medium review, you’ll be approached about it there and then which makes for a really uncomfortable experience.

Kien I really liked this cruise, the environment was beautiful and i like the boat also very much. The crew was excellent and i participated in all the activities which i really enjoyed! The food was delicious, but it might have been a bit to much for the European people:) The drive to the cruise was very comfortable also! Hope to come back someday!
