Train Street, Hanoi, Vietnam You’ll start out early with a dawn exploration of (the lesser-known) train street, and morning tai chi and aerobics at Reunification Park. We then head over to the city's infamous Thieves Market. We’ll take a photographic wander through the tight, atmospheric alleyways here, before dropping by a retirees’ ping pong club, housed in an unforgettable location. 240 minutes
Ứng Hòa, Hanoi, Vietnam We jump into our private car and head one hour south to Cu Da village. This is one of the best-preserved ancient villages within reach of the city center, specializing in the manufacture of vermicelli noodles. We’ll explore the atmospheric backstreets, then photograph locals drying vermicelli in fields of dazzling gold.
We'll grab lunch nearby, and review our photos at a peaceful cafe.
Next stop is nearby Quang Phu Cau village. Here we’ll capture incredible images of incense arranged in the sun - a rhapsody in red just made for travel photographers. We'll also explore the village's busy workshops, taking photos at all stages of the fascinating process. 480 minutes
Hanoi, Hanoi, Vietnam Time to head back to Hanoi. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel in order to get refreshed, have dinner and get ready for the night tour, with pick-up at 7:30 pm.
We now head out for our final adventure in the capital, a night photography tour exploring incredible Long Bien market. As couriers and traders bring in their stock for the next day, we’ll capture all the action, ending our adventure with a uniquely Hanoi experience. 240 minutes

This was one of the best photography tours I have experienced. This tour was extensive and took us to many areas off the beaten track which allowed to us experience an authentic side of Hanoi.
The locals who we came in contact were engaging and were delighted for us to photograph them. The guides obviously had a very positive relationship with them. The owner of the company took the time to meet us for lunch and was passionate about her clients. A well run company.

It may be a rather long tour day with a pick up in the early hours of 5 am and back to the hotel at 10 pm but it was most worth it, throughly enjoyable and educational. Pre-tour information and enquiries were handled promptly and most professionally that there was no doubt that we found the best photography tour operator in Hanoi, perhaps even Vietnam. The day included a dawn visit to Train Street, Long Bien Bridge, several wet markets and old quarter, the noodle and incense villages and finishing the evening at the HCM mausoleum; a photographer's dream tour of Hanoi!
We were assigned two photography guides, Brian and Linh; both experienced and gifted with an excellent eye for photo-imaging. Although we were already familiar with our camera gear, the two of them were very helpful, patient and made every effort to help us get the beautiful images of Hanoi we were hoping for. Having two photography guides with different photography interests, approach and personalities certainly enhanced the educational component of the tour.
We were very happy with the tour we chose and hope to definitely return for more experiences with them. Highly recommended!

I had two awesome tours with Vietnam in Focus, one in DaNang and the Ultimate Hanoi tour. During both tours my photographer guides were extremely helpful not only in presenting unique opportunities for photographs but in providing technical assistance and kind advice when asked for or when needed. My tours were well structured and organized but included room for flexibility to suit a couple specific itinerary requests I had. The guides were patient, excellent teachers and fun to be with. I really appreciated receiving all the emails from Vietnam in Focus leadership / management before, during and after my tours with the intent to ensure my complete satisfaction. I would not hesitate to book future photography tours with Vietnam in Focus.
