The Mayan's used the caves as part of their elaborate religious rituals. They called the caves XIBALBA or "HELL". These cave systems boasts beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and stunning crystal pillars. As the adventure gently gets underway your guide will navigate down the refreshing cave branch river through the mystical cave of Xibalba as the Mayan did centuries ago only this is cooler in an inner tube. This tour was amazing. We have done this tour privately on past trips and enjoyed it, but this company made it an experience we will never forget. The service and authentic Belizean meal were excellent. We all agree, David is the best tour guide we have ever had. Thank you David & family!
