    Paddle the majestic Wailua River for 2 miles each way (4 miles total round trip), original home of the first Hawaiians, who paddled 1500 miles from the Marquesas Islands to Kaua`i almost 1500 years ago. Hear the legends and learn about the flora and fauna of Kauai`s most sacred area.
  • Secret Falls (Uluwehi Falls), Wailua, Hawaii, United States
    After hiking 1 1/2 miles through the rain forest our guides will take clients to Secret Falls also known as Uluwehi Falls. This beautiful waterfall cascades 110 feet into a refreshing swimming hole, where they can go for a dip and enjoy a terrific lunch! You will then hike 1 1/2 miles back to your kayak (3 miles of hiking round trip). TRAIL CONDITIONS CAN VARY DEPENDING ON WEATHER. THERE WILL BE 4 RIVER CROSSINGS WITH LOOSE ROCKS IN RIVER BED THAT YOU WILL NEED TO CROSS AND UNPAVED TRAIL ON YOUR TREK TO THE WATERFALL. It was a great experience. Tommy our guide was friendly. Being our first kayak trip it was a little difficult to keep up with everyone. I suggest maybe at least kayaking one time before going so you know what to expect. Hike was nice and waterfall was beautiful. Overall a fun experience. Take extra bug spray and sunscreen as you will be wet from the start to finish.

This was the one tour I booked that I was concerned about. I'm in my early 60s and not the most athletic person so all the reviews about how difficult the hike was worried me. I shouldn't have worried. Our guide, Zach, was fantastic and made sure no one was ever left behind. The hike itself was fairly easy. Definitely where shoes with a decent sole and that can get wet as they will get wet. Good water shoes work great. This is definitely not a hike you want to do in flip flops. You probably also don't want to wear cloths that you don't want to get dirty. While there are streams you walk through and rocks and downed trees to get over, nothing is unmanageable. During Covid they built a boardwalk along the narrowest part of the trail that made things much easier. The falls at the end our breathtaking and definitely worth the trip even if you decide not to climb down the rocks to swim (we did).
