The food and service was lovely, we stopped by for a light bit of food and drink when the rain hit. I would have given 5 stars but slightly put out by the fact that tipping is explained by a card and obviously indicated to because we are British . We understand the system! We always tip and this is the first time in Hawaii that it was clearly given to us when presenting our bill on the basis of our accent !

I made a reservation to be seated on the balcony right over the Hard Rock Cafe sign on the second floor. Upon arriving I was told that reservations on OpenTable were not guaranteed. I told them I had made the request several hours ahead of time. They didn't sit us near the sign but instead proceeded to sit three different white families in that area. The area near the Hard Rock Cafe sign was a "white-only" area. It was clear the white manager didn't want the place to look filled with minorities or people of color. The food was horrible and disappointing as well. I ordered the pulled pork burger- it was underseasoned, the bbq sauce was ketchup, and it was cold. I don't recommend this place if you are a person of color.
