    We ask guests to wear clothes that they do not mind getting dirty! All guests must wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear that can be used for hiking. Bug spray and reef safe sunscreen are recommended as well as a towel and extra clothes for showering off after the tour. Guests will be provided with goggles, a helmet, and a souvenir neck gaiter (for use as a face mask). A safety overview, including driving instructions, will be given by your guides before heading out on the trails. For this tour, guests can expect to view pristine landscapes from makai (ocean) to mauka (mountain). This tour will take you on plantation trails over Kauai's most southern point in Polaris UTV's. Guests will hear the tales of Kamehameha from atop an inactive volcanic crater, see famous movie sites, visit the cliffs of Mahaulepu beach and even be able to try their luck at some catch and release bass fishing on the Waita Reservoir! Guest will be asked for a copy of collateral (credit card) for insurance purposes during the waiver sign in process. This tour provides approximately 40 minutes of drive time. Expect some moderate hiking.

  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • IMPORTANT: you will need to advise the names, weights and dates of birth of all passengers in your group prior to arrival. Please reach out to us with this information once your booking has been submitted
  • Not recommended for travelers with mobility issues. There is a hike from seaside cliff to beach
  • Drivers must be 18 with valid driver's license. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 25 and older
  • Children 4 years and younger are not permitted

  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Tori and Ari made this trip great with history of the area and Island. The tour was fun in the RZR and was very dusty! 100% recommend the tour and the staff made it that more fun!

This was our first time doing ATV with Kauai ATV. Our experience could not have been better. We have ATV'd on the island before and wanted to try Kauai ATV. We had a fantastic time. We were with my husband and two adult kids. My husband has arthritis and has good and bad days. He was particularly bad on this day and didn't want to get out of the ATV at the different stops. Our tour guides Tory and Austin were so wonderful and accommodating to us. They pulled our ATV up to the stop spot to make sure he was included in the view, what we were looking at and could hear the talk they were making. At one stop there was a hike and one of the guides (Austin) stayed with my husband to allow us to go on the hike. They made him feel included the entire time. What a gift to all of us. Tory and Austin were so very friendly and did a great job. I can't recommend this company enough.
