Kulaniapia Falls is the largest, privately accessible waterfall in Hawaii, and the ONLY waterfall in the area that you can swim / kayak / paddleboard under when river safety conditions permit (rental fee applies for kayaks and paddleboards). Enjoy miles of trails, incredible views of 4 waterfalls, bamboo gardens, and when river safety conditions permit, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding (rental fee applies) under Kulaniapia Falls, which is over 120 feet tall - that’s 40 feet taller than Rainbow Falls! Your daypass also includes a discount on all of our other guided experiences and adventures like waterfall rappelling, farm tours and cooking classes. PLEASE NOTE: There is absolutely no access to the property without an advance reservation. You must arrive promptly at your arrival time. After 15 minutes, late arrivals are subject to an additional fee. Exceptions are only made for the late arrival of cruise ships.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

The scenery was amazing, and we got to swim around the waterfall, which was so fun. I highly recommend it, or anyone who can hike 1/2 mile on a grassy path.

My wife and her sister swam at the falls. My son, his wife, and my brother in law enjoyed the trails. My mobility issues kept me at the lodge where I spent the day painting watercolors.
