We had a really great experience on this tour. Our driver was Humu and he was fabulous! He was full of information, charm, and humor to package it all in one great experience. At first, I was surprised that the drivers were not our tour guides, but he gave us enough detailed instructions to let us enjoy the tour at our level and our speed. Humu really made the transit during traffic a fun and memorable adventure as well… with great catch phrases and local insights. He offered rainbows and storms and aloha culture at all times. Thanks again and we will probably see you again!! *shaka*

I have always wanted to visit pearl Harbour so when I finally got to Hawaii I looked over all of the reviews for tours and decided on this one. It consistently got great reviews and allowed me to book a 7 hour tour - it is well worth the money if you are here and looking to get as much out of the day as possible. Firstly - instructions and text reminders were great, picked up in a very prompt and organised manner from a local place, Noni was our driver and guide for the day. I need to say - absolute admiration for him and the way he does things, very professional but funny and laid back. I couldn't drive a double decker through heavy traffic, picking people up whilst filling the audio with every possible fact of Hawaii's history and then Pearl Harbour and its resulting senator. Truly inspirational and he made the day so much more personal by engaging everyone and remembering your name, even taking photos for you as you can see! The value of the tour is really in a few things if you're thinking of doing this yourself or at lesser cost: 1)The pickup and the guide - whether you have a car or not they manage the schedule and the stress of travelling perfectly. You get to just take in the sights and listen to what's coming 2) Pearl harbour first stop means you have a ticket issued to you for the boat ride over to USS Arizona resting place and memorial - these are hard to get unless booked in advance and people wait in lines to hope to get across if there are spare seats but tickets are prioritised. Don't miss doing this, it's incredibly sad and humbling but you need to do it 3) Time to look across the rest of the site, there is too much to see. If you are hear to know more and pay respects there is so much you could be here all day 4) Transport & security access to Ford Island and then getting your ticket for onboard of USS Missouri - unbelievable. Time flies but I couldn't stop looking and learning. From 07:30 to 14:30 back to drop off I had 1.5l of water I brought with me and didn't have time for food or anything else. The Military run the installations and have strict rules for no bags as well as security clearance, Noni was very clear in what you have to do to manage this and very pleasant with it. He makes sure the day and the schedule is kept to time so if you do this tour and you get him, have fun and tip well!
