I went with my 9 year old nephew and my 11 year old niece and it was great! I didn't have the best feeling going into this experience and I was even more nervous when we pulled up to a (seemingly) random spot on the beach and this was the surf school. I had been a bit nervous because of the safety issues but all the staff stressed safety and I actually felt confident we would be safe, after the initial talk. We were a semi private lesson which meant the 3 of us (myself, niece and nephew ) with one instructor. Our instructor's name was Brooks and he immediately impressed us- he stressed safety as well. He made a massive difference in our experience - without him I don't think we would have had such an awesome experience. He was patient and competent and worked really well with my niece and nephew. He was super positive and encouraging and very strong! We all loved him -if you go ask for Brooks he is the best. They provided us with water shoes and a surf board and an experience of a lifetime! Thank you very much
