The tour is a mix of everything. You will have an opportunity to learn about culture, heritage, history and modern way of life. We admire the beautiful countryside and learn about the day to day living. Porvoo is a great small city that must be visited to go back in time. We will take a nice walk through the cobbled stones at the Old Town and admire the 15th-century cathedral. We visit the shops selling local products, have a coffee in an 18th century house or at the local bakery and you can have a meal in one of the restaurants in the old town. After visiting Porvoo there is still time to visit some hidden gems in Helsinki where the locals go and visit the local the market. We drop you in the center or at a place of your choice. A memorable day! Changes on tour can be done if you request to visit place that is not listed on the tour not a problem just let me know on the day.

    Paulo was extremely professional and Knowledgeable. There is no way that we could have received all the information that he provided about Helsinki Porvoo. Definitely would recommend the tour and Paulo as a guide. When we are in the area next time we will definitely look him again for future tours

    From start to finish Paulo was a terrific guide and driver. From the moment we met him we knew we were in for a great day ! First off, we visited many historic and well-known sights in Helsinki. People tend to underestimate this city but Paulo provided a rich and varied history of Finland and how Helsinki came to be what it is today. Helsinki is a mix of modern architecture with many fragments left of Russian and Swedish influences. We visited not only the central sections but the outskirts and neighborhoods. Lots of open space and green everywhere with loads of parks and of course the Baltic sea surrounding this gem of a city. We made our way to charming and quaint Porvoo with its wooden structures and cute local shops. We were treated to a yummy little bakery in the upper parts of young for home-baked cinnamon buns and huge mugs of coffee!!:-) Returning back to Helsinki we visited the old Town and Senate square and hugged the coastline one more time. Helsinki has delicious chocolate shops cozy coffee and pastry shops as well as Finnish products like wools, honey, Marimekko and more . But all of this wonderful sightseeing would not have happened without the star of the drive, Paulo! He is very knowledgeable about his adopted home,speaks several languages and is like a walking guidebook. He is an enjoyable and engaging man who will make you comfortable and at ease !!     Paolo is great, super funny and outgoing! Earnestly wants to get to know you and will cater the tour to your specific interests of possible. Very informed about the history of Helsinki and provides great insight into the Finnish people and culture. Pointed out great sights AND great food spots. We had enough food recommendations for days. Fantastic communication both before and after the tour. Would definitely recommend!
