Our guide Nadia was truly knowledgeable and accommodating, spoke superb English, and gave us lots of helpful recommendations. She’s a real history expert, a cultivated and culturally aware person who quickly understands your needs — exactly the kind of guide you’ll want to make sure is leading your tour.

We booked the Helsinki Private Sightseeing + Medieval Town Porvoo tour as a couple looking to make the most of our limited time in Finland and we honestly couldn’t have made a better choice!
From the moment our guide picked us up everything felt effortless. The vehicle was clean, spacious, and even had onboard Wi-Fi, which came in handy for sharing moments with family back home in real-time.
Helsinki was the perfect starting point. We were blown away by the majestic Helsinki Cathedral—absolutely stunning in person and a great place for photos. Our guide provided fascinating insights into the history and architecture without ever feeling too scripted or rushed. The Sibelius Monument and Temppeliaukio (Rock Church) were equally awe-inspiring, and we loved the balance between iconic landmarks and lesser-known gems.
The highlight of the day, though, was our visit to Porvoo Old Town. It was like stepping into a fairy tale. We wandered through the cobbled streets, explored charming boutiques, and enjoyed coffee and pastries at a cozy riverside café. Our guide gave us just the right mix of structure and freedom—we had time to explore at our own pace while still learning about the town’s rich medieval history.
Back in Helsinki, we strolled through Esplanadi Park, sampled local delicacies at the Old Market Hall, and soaked in the atmosphere at Kauppatori (Market Square). Even driving past the Olympic Stadium was a cool bonus for sports fans like us!
We appreciated how smooth and well-organized everything was.
As a couple, this tour felt intimate and tailored—we never felt like just another group of tourists. Whether you’re in Helsinki for a day or a week, this private tour is the perfect way to see the best of both worlds: the elegance of the capital and the rustic charm of Porvoo.
Highly, highly recommended! ????????????
