Pickup from Nikos Kazantzakis Airport: located outside the Arrivals area on the right side. Look for a small gate and crosswalk that leads to the other side of the main road, where you will find the bus station. Your pickup will be at that bus station.

    The excursion begins with a visit to the Minoan palace of Knossos, located on the outskirts of Heraklion (travel time from pickup approximately 30 min). This important archaeological site is believed to have been the center of Minoan civilization and is a must-see for anyone interested in ancient history and culture. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the ruins of the palace and learn about the fascinating history of the Minoans.

    You can choose to visit one of the traditional villages: Avdou, Mochos, or Krasi. Any of them has it's own history and unique beauty. The second stop will be one of many traditional villages (40 min travel from Knossos). Visitors will have the opportunity to admire the stunning geological formations and learn about the mythology and legends associated with the cave.

    The tour will also include a visit to a ceramics workshop, where visitors will have the chance to see a performance by local artisans and learn about the traditional techniques and processes used to create beautiful ceramics. Our entire day was special and beyond belief. We stepped off the shuttle to find our guides waiting for us. They were kind, courteous, and always took the extra time to answer every question we had and, throughout the day, remained engaged with my family. ANYONE wanting a Spanish language your of Knossos should call here first and take any worries out of your vacation, at least got this day!
