This Private tour include the Visit of Pompei and Herculaneum ruins on your own. You will be picked up by a English speaking driver in a Mercedes vehicle, holding a sign showing you name, and ready to set the tour with you in order to decide together if to start from Pompeii or Herculaneum according to traffic conditions.  The tour duration is from 6.5hrs to 7.30hrs and do not include entrance tickets. It start from any location in Naples or Salerno. Different departure time are available but if you are on board a a cruise ship we do raccomend to start at 8.30am. Free time for lunch are instead included in the price. Alfonso was an amazing driver. He was entertaining, informative, & prompt at keeping us on schedule. He even went out of his way to pick up pizza while we were at one of our stops so we could experience traditional Neopolitan-style pizza when we got back in the van. Barbara was the perfect guide during our tours of Herculaneum & Pompeii. Her insights into the lives of the people, the culture, & history made both sites come alive. Even though our time was condensed into one day, I feel like because of Barbara we got the most out of our experience. Thank you, Barbara & Alfonso, for making our day unforgettable!

Alfonso was an absolute riot! He thoughtfully curated a whole day for us, including lunch and separate personal tour guides for each ancient city. He even spent the whole trip there and back telling us fun facts and the whole history of the region. Highly recommend!

Pompeii was amazing. Out tour guide was very knowledgeable at Pompeii. Our guide Alfonso was a riot and made a wonderful change to our tour when we booked on a day when Herculaneum was closed. He took us to a fantastic winery instead. Super tour!
