If you visit Oaxaca, you must visit Hierve el Agua. Hierve el Agua is a natural scenery of petrified waterfalls. The first thing we do on the tour is to go directly to Hierve el Agua as our first stop. We stay there for 3 hours to have enough time to enjoy the natural wonders of Hierve el Agua without rushing. There you can go hiking with local guides, or take a dip in to the pool. After visiting this wonderful place, on the way back to the city we visit one of the most popular mezcal distilleries in Oaxaca. There you can do a mezcal tasting completely free of charge, and taste the different flavors of mezcals that exist. The tour lasts approximately 7 hours, and includes entrance fees to Hierve el Agua.

Very well organised, comfortable transfers and lots of good information. Well worth it. Although the hike at the site has to be done by a local person ( I.e in Spanish)there is generally some who can translate. It’s a nice way to spend a few hours out of the city

Wonderful day and super value tour! Easy to find and check in. Great mercedes sprinter bus and left on time! Julio was an excellent host, Shared good info but not intrustive. Hierve de Agua is totally worth it but note the loop hike around it gets very hot and can be steep. Not for beginners or sandals on feet! 3 hours was perfect to explore, hike, dip in the pools and grab a bit to eat. People were in pools but a bit too cold for us to go all the way in, we just waded on edge. I can't imagine cramming it into the tours other groups offer that add even more stops. Mezcal Distillery was cool and informative and gave as many tastings as wanted. Tired at end of a great day!

We did the Only Hierve el Agua and Mezcal Distillery Tour and we would recommend this so highly! We had the best tour guide ever, Rodrigo and driver, Manuel. Really informative and funny and day was structured so well allowing a great amount of time at each stop! Great value for money as such a brilliant trip.
