The highlights of Istria photo tour was a great day even though it started with a lot of rain. Our visit to Motovun was a wet one, but Igor patiently watched the weather to make plans for the day based on when and where the rain would lighten up. Even wet, I enjoy this cute little city built on a hill and got several photos I really like. We had lunch at a nice seafood restaurant along the way to Rovinj where we waited for the rain to subside. Next stop was Rovinj, is a city on the Adriatic Sea with charming cobblestones streets. When we parked the car the rain had stopped and I was so excited that we were going to have better weather. But minutes later, the rain was coming down harder than ever. Igor and I had hot drinks at a cafe while we waited for the rain to pass. Once the rain stopped we were able to explore the streets among the shopps and homes which was well worth the wait. Igor was very patient with helping me learn how to frame better pictures. More stuff in photos isn't necessarily better. Sometimes less is more. Igor helped me see a whole new way of looking at the subjects for my pictures and what I want to see in them. Last visit for the day was the amphitheater in Porec, and the weather continued to improve. I even got a few patches of blue sky in my pictures. I definitely recommend Igor and Croatia Photo Tours for any one who likes to take photos. Igor has an easy going personality and is a good teacher. I enjoyed my day with him and am happy with my pictures and what I have learned to help my future photos.
