We pick all of our clients at any hotel in Santa Marta, Rodadero, Pozos Colorados, Taganga, Bello Horizonte, and also hotels located close to Tayrona Park area such as Los Naranjos, Guachaca, Calabazo and Buritaca

  • Tayrona National Park, Santa Marta Municipality, Colombia
    We will pick you up at the coordinated time, and after one hour of driving, we will arrive at the Tayrona National Park entrance. After we buy the tickets, pass the security gates and drive for about 10 more minutes, we leave the car in the parking lot and from that exact moment, our journey will start. It will be hard, it's about 4 hours of ups and downs in humid weather (it takes just 15 minutes to be soaked in sweat), however, all of that will be left behind the moment you start watching the amazing coastline full of gigantic rocks that look like prehistoric dinosaurs eggs, the beautiful flora, and if we are lucky enough the three different types of monkeys that live there. Besides nature, you will also learn about the people who used to protect the area; The Tayronas, and also, their descendants, The Koguis, Wiwas, Kankuamos, and Arhuacos, we will explain to you their costumes, their history, and their current situation since we will meet some of them on our way.

  • Cabo San Juan Del Guia, Santa Marta Municipality, Colombia
    After two hours of hiking, we will finally arrive at Cabo San Juan Beach, here, you can relax, swim, take lunch and then at 2:30 PM, we return using the same way back to the parking lot, then drive back to your place and thus officially finish the experience.

Hugo was such a wonderful guide, we enjoyed our experience so much ❤️❤️ Hugo was knowledgeable about the history and natural landscape of Colombia, he provided us with such an in depth view of the area. He is kind, passionate, and funny - we couldn’t have been more pleased about our trip. Jesus our driver was also an amazing companion to have, he was patient and got us safely everywhere. We are so happy we did the tour with them today ????

We could not have asked for a better day. We are a family of 4 adult children with our spouses and our 86 year old father. A comfortable van stocked with water showed up exactly on time. Eric and David, our two guides, were perfect. Eric is a passionate and expert naturalist and historian and was able to give this very curious group fascinating information about the Indigenous peoples, plants, birds and animals on our hike into the jungle to an archeological village. He knew everything! David was so kind with my father, helping him with a few tricky areas on the path. After the hike and tour of the village, we went on a one hour tubing excursion down river to where it meets the sea. On the way we saw ospreys, fish eagles, howler monkeys and other wonderful creatures. Eric had bags of oranges and other local fruit to share with us and we spent about 20 minutes on a lovely beach. Then we went back upriver by boat to a tiny restaurant in the jungle. Fresh fried snapper for lunch for $10 per person!

We used Bukap for 3 trips in Colombia. Private transfer from Cartagena to Tayrona National Park, day in the park with a guide and a transfer from Tayrona to Santa Marta airport. Communication and booking was easy and they were able to tailor the trips to what we needed. All 3 trips were excellent, with the highlight being the guided day tour of the park.
