Varenna is my most fav place to go, its near Bellagio and Menaggio and all are easy to come by ferry boats. Just one note: Castle Vezio is not located in Verenna, but located at Perledo, its near Varenna.

Wonderful tour of Varenna. Nadia was Extremely knowledgeable of the history of the area and took us to many interesting places we would’ve never seen on our own.

We really enjoyed this walking tour with Nadia. She was very flexible in that it was raining in the morning and she delayed the start for 1 hour so we did not have to walk in the rain. I would say the difficulty of this hike/walk is moderate. It was up or down the majority of the way. But if you are in decent shape it is not a problem. Nadia is a native of Varenna and did a great job of explaining the history and significance of the places we visited. The views along the way were just amazing.
