A++. Outstanding !! Jousel took my daughter and I on a comprehensive tour of the city of Salvador. We were immersed in African-Brazilian culture and history from start to finish. Housing, food, religion, education, etc. We were able to really make connections to our own Jamaican and African-American experiences. Jousel was very knowledgeable and personable. A great storyteller! Delivered on everything that was promised, and more. This is a must do. Thanks, Jousel!!

My wife and traveled to Brazil for the first time. Our primary destination was Salvador because of the African heritage. We wanted to explore the city and learn as much as we could while there. My wife reached out to Josuel. Initially on our behalf, there was a disconnect. Josuel followed-up and we arranged to go on his tour. Of course I can only give you an overview and summary, so here it go: Very punctual, polite, professional, knowledgeable. We explored the entire city of Salvador. Never once did I feel rushed, or if we were missing out on anything. As a matter of fact, Josuel deviated a couple of times at my request to incorporate my desires to explore. Before our tour ended, he treated us to a traditional lunch at restaurant named Axego. The food was so amazing, my wife and I ate there daily. Anyhow, this is just a brief snapshot. If you're visiting Brasil, especially Salvador and you want to learn about the city, heritage, and visit important historical sites/museums, this is a must tour. You will not be disappointed!!!
