Choose FlexiToursNZ for a premium tour. We put less seats in our vehicles than factory standard and only 3 seats in the back row. Pay a little more to be comfortable. This tour is more enjoyable if you are comfortable and not crushed up against other people on the vehicle. We keep the groups small with no more than 12 people on our vehicle, meaning our drivers can and will give you, personal service. We pick from any accomodation but if it is not centrally located we can organise a shuttle for you. These are generally much cheaper than an Uber or a Taxi because we would like you to be collected by on of our team to make sure you get to the tour

We build the groups so you do not need to be a group of 4 to book. It is helpful but not essential If you are able to be flexible with your dates.

    Afternoon tour - departs at 12:00 - Hotel pickups from 11:30. Travel to and from Hobbiton in a late model Mercedes Van with luxury fit-out and then join the 2 hour bus and walking tour of Hobbiton with a local guide. There are no meals included but you have time on arrival in Hobbiton buy and eat food before you go on tour

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

Very efficient tour from Auckland to Hobbiton. Scenic tour. Very good guide. The Hobbiton site and organisation are tremendous.

Fabulous day at Hobbiton with Chris from Flexi Tours. We travelled with a group of 8 down to Hobbiton from Auckland - Chris met us at SkyCity Hotel in great time and we hit the road. Chris was very easy to talk to and extremely welcoming. Chris ensured the elderly members of our group were safe and sound, as well as keeping up communication with all group members. Chris is a great ambassador for Auckland and for Flexi Tours. The buffet lunch at Hobbiton was wonderful, well arranged and no chaos considering the amount of people. Well-oiled machine. The tour of Hobbiton itself was as breathtaking as always - the scenery, offering and staff make this experience what it is. The new Hobbit Hole experience exceeding all of my expectations, this is exactly what Hobbiton was missing and makes for a very exciting end to the tour.
